'How I Met Your Mother' Star COBIE SMULDERS Performs Quarantine Version Of "Let's Go To The Mall"
How I Met Your Mother's Cobie Smulders is once again channeling her dazzling alter ego Robin Sparkles after almost 15 years in a special quarantine performance in support of the Save The Children fund.
With her trusty piano, the 38-year-old actress played a stripped down version of HIMYM's "Let's Go to the Mall" from 2006. She tweaked the lyrics a little bit and changed its title to "Let’s All Stay at Home" to remind everyone to stay indoors to stop the spread of the coronavirus. Cobie even sported a denim jacket to fit the look! Wowza! Radical. Check it out here:
Welp. Here it is. I hope it takes your mind off some things. It certainly did for me! A huge thank you to Craig Thomas and Carter Bays for the new lyrics. And to Brian Kim, who helped compose this song originally. He wrote this new piano version and then rewrote it when it was too challenging for me. It was a wonderful journey down memory lane.
