beabadoobee is the only other Filipino artist aside from Inigo Pascual in the star-studded lineup for 88rising's virtual festival ASIA RISING FOREVER. And it's high time you know more about the London-raised hitmaker and her music.

You most likely have already heard beabadoobee, whose real name is Beatrice Kristi Laus, singing. If you know the viral TikTok song "death bed" by Canadian singer-rapper powfu, it actually samples the 19-year-old's 2017 song "coffee."

Bea is also an artist under Dirty Hit, the same record label as The 1975 and No Rome, a fellow Filipino artist making waves in the global music market. She has released five EPs—including her latest Space Cadet—since signing with the label in 2018.

As for her first full-length project, she casually announced in early January on Instagram that she will be making an album this 2020. And while we wait for that, we can watch this ridiculously talented young lady sing a stripped-down rendition of her song "you lie all the time" and an even sadder cover of Elliott Smith's "Between the Bars."

You can watch the entire four-hour show featuring performances from Rich Brian, NIKI, Kang Daniel, Keshi, Jackson Wang and more below.
