LADY GAGA Announces New ‘Chromatica’ Release Date
The wait is almost over. Lady Gaga's sixth studio album Chromatica has a new release date! "The journey continues. You can officially join me on #Chromatica on May 29," the pop diva announced on her socials.
The record, which was originally scheduled for an April 10 release date, was pushed back because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In a message to fans, Mother Monster explained how it didn't feel right for her to release Chromatica at such "hectic and scary time." She said, "While I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this... I prefer that we spend this time focusing on finding solutions.
She added, "It’s important to me that the attention is on getting essential medical equipment to healthcare professionals, making sure kids who depend on public schools for meals get the assistance they need, and that we help those who will be financially impacted by this pandemic."
As you may have already known, the 16-track Chromatica features collaborations with Ariana Grande, Elton John, and BLACKPINK.
