BEA ALONZO Helps Raise Over 6 Million For COVID-19 Relief Efforts
Bea Alonzo announced on Instagram that her COVID-19 fundraiser has concluded with over P6 million raised within a span of one month.
The actress, with her friend and movie producer Rina Navarro, launched I Am HOPE with the goal of helping medical and non-medical frontliners who are sacrificing and dedicating their lives during the pandemic.
According to the post, Bea and her team were able to give out thousands of food and hygiene items and distribute face masks and shields, disinfectants, PPE suits, and more to a total of 27 hospitals and 17 communities and barangays.
"Your Generosity has made it possible," the actress wrote. "It is through donors like you that WE are able to continue our mission of helping our Frontliners, Health Workers & Communities. Your donations helped the following Beneficiaries and impacted many lives through I am HOPE. Together, WE CAN overcome this! Let us continue to fight, and be HOPEful that we will all wake up to a new, and better world."
