AARON GORDON Fires Diss Track At DWYANE WADE Over Dunk Contest Loss
Orlando Magic star Aaron Gordon has decided not to have his heart broken again after the controversial loss to Derrick Jones Jr. in the 2020 Slam Dunk Contest. "It's a wrap," he told reporters at that time, claiming how he's already been robbed of the elusive dunk title twice.
Over two months later, Aaron has shared once again his displeasure with a diss track titled "9 Out Of 10" that finds him taking a jab at Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade—one of the three judges who cost him the win along with former Chicago Bulls superstar Scottie Pippen and Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman.
The track, which was released on April 27, arrived with a music video. It opens with Gordon pouring himself a glass of red wine from a bottle from Dwyane's own wine label.
In a separate Instagram post, Aaron downplayed the response to his song, saying "It ain’t that deep tho lol. [I'm] just having fun expressing myself," and even joked about how the wine he had was a 10/10. He then went on to announce that he has an album on the way. Nice!
Meanwhile, Dwyane didn't take the diss track personally and even offered some unsolicited advice to the youngin. "He should trademark 9/10. Make some money off of it. That’s free advice that I won’t charge him for it. (You know since I costed him a Mill)," he said in a tweet.
