Hailee Steinfeld has decided to delay Part 1 of her new as-yet-untitled two-part project to May 8—a week after the original release schedule. In a message posted on her Instagram account, the singer said, "Hey, my loves. So I am delaying the release of the project by one week. I needed a little extra time to get things perfect for you guys."

Hailee, who has yet to drop a debut album after releasing a handful of hit singles in the past, thanked her fans for being patient. "I love you, guys. Can't wait for you to hear it," she concluded her message.
