ELIJAH WOOD Slides Into Fan's DM To Sell 'Animal Crossing' Turnips
People are going loco over the Nintendo life simulation video game Animal Crossing: New Horizon.
Even The Lord of the Rings trilogy star Elijah Wood has apparently caught the fever and he's taking the game pretty seriously while in quarantine.
One player posted about her virtual encounter with Elijah who slid into her DMs after she posted the price of her turnips. To those who aren't familiar with the game, turnip selling is one of the best ways for your character to collect "bells" (money) via the Stalk Market system.

According to Twitter user "Jessa", the 39-year-old actor who played Frodo on LOTR paid her island a visit to have his items sold and hang out a little with other players.
'New Horizons' is the fifth installment in the Animal Crossing game series which debuted in 2001.
