Netflix is postponing the return of crime-solving devil Lucifer Morningstar (played by Tom Ellis) to the digital streaming platform. Joe Henderson, one of the showrunners for Lucifer, said in a tweet that there have been some "post-production hiccups" due to the coronavirus nightmare.

"To all out there wondering when season 5 (part 1) drops -- chances are, we'll know when you do!" he said. "There have been some post-production hiccups because of Covid, but we're working through them pretty well. Hopefully we'll all have an answer soon!"

But if you look at the delay at a different perspective, it actually benefits new fans who have just discovered the show while on quarantine. Meanwhile, longtime fans will have time to refresh their memory when the fifth season picks up where it left off on the fourth season.
