We may have developed strong attachments to cartoons as kids, but animated series can still play a big role in our lives especially when we are subconsciously learning a thing or two whenever we watch them. It's easy to get hooked on the humorous one-liners, heartbreaking scenes, and downright crazy yet highly entertaining plots. However, if you take a better look at these shows, you will see that they can actually impart knowledge to you, but in the most enjoyable way possible.

1. Rick and Morty

Sure, Rick and Morty is science fiction. A huge chunk of what you watch is nothing but the product of imagination of the show's genius creators. However, there's also a lot of accurate scientific facts in there like how love is a biological chain of events. Some of the things you see are also actually being studied right now like the multiverse theory and dark matter engine.

2. Cells at Work

The human body is truly one of the most fascinating and complex systems ever. There are so many moving parts inside of us, and this is exactly what Cells at Work is trying to explore. It will not only give you a deeper understanding of your body, but it will also inspire you to make better choices health-wise. On top of this, you'll also discover just how hard your cells work in order to protect you!

3. Carmen Sandiego

You may know Carmen Sandiego as the 90's icon, but she has now transitioned into the small screen for today's generation as the master thief who uses her ability for good. This show will take you on an exciting tour around the world and each episode will dedicate a time to give valuable information about their current setting. It will give you a taste of the culture of many places and would make you want to actually travel there.

4. Big Mouth

Puberty is probably, if not, the most confusing stage in everyone's life. Although it's often masked with humor, this show will show you that it's okay to not have everything figured out yet and it's okay to not have a smooth transition into adulthood. More importantly, it will give practical lessons on sex, relationships, mental health, and so much more.

If you're decided on binge watching a series, then we're 100% sure that these won't disappoint. After all, wouldn't it be nice to gain a better grasp of the world around and within you by simply watching a show?
