Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day performed "Wake Me Up When September Ends" during the One World: Together At Home concert, broadcast in various networks and streaming sites earlier today, and it just really hits home.

Sitting with a guitar in his room, the 48-year old punk rock icon beautifully pulled off such an emotional acoustic version of the said song, which he actually wrote for his dad who died of cancer.

Lady Gaga, who curated this grand event along with by Global Citizen and the World Health Organization, couldn't help but cry during Billie Joe's emotional performance.

You definitely have to watch and be moved as well by this emotional performance. Check it out below!
