Facebook is rolling out a new reaction option that can aid millions of users to support one another during this difficult COVID-19 crisis.

The social networking site will be launching a 'Care' reaction on both Facebook and Messenger, making it easier to show how much you care about your friends and peers. It will take the form of a little round emoji holding a small heart on FB while on Messenger, it will look like an emoji of a pulsating heart.

The EMEA Tech Comms Manager of the tech giant announced the new reaction option which is expected to be available globally next week. "We’re launching new Care reactions on @facebookapp and @Messenger as a way for people to share their support with one another during this unprecedented time. We hope these reactions give people additional ways to show their support during the #COVID19 crisis."
