TAYLOR SWIFT Cancels All Of Her 2020 Shows
2020 comes with not only a "cruel summer" but also a cruel year as a whole when it comes to live events, music festivals, and concerts because of the COVID-19 pandemic—a reason why Taylor Swift and her team made an important announcement today.
Officially informing everyone that she's forced to cancel all of her live appearances and performances for this year, the global superstar posted that her U.S. and Brazil shows would be rescheduled to take place in 2021. Dates would be announced later this year, and no action is needed by ticket holders to transfer their preexisting tickets.
The 10-time Grammy-winning artist also announced that her anticipated U.S. Lover Fest shows are cancelled as well and refunds will be available starting May 1st.
“Fighting COVID-19 is an unprecedented challenge for our global community and the safety and wellbeing of fans should always be the top priority. Health organizations and governments around the world have strongly discouraged large public gatherings for an undetermined period of time,” Taylor's post stated.
Although with a heavy heart, the Lover singer-songwriter assured her Swifties that "this is the right decision" and asked them to "please, please stay healthy and safe."
