CAROL BANAWA Serves As COVID-19 Frontliner In The US

Carol Banawa will be battling COVID-19 alongside other medical frontliners in the United States. The Filipina singer, who is now a nurse, revealed that she "will be floating out of my home unit starting next week to train and help out other units in the next few weeks" in an Instagram post over the weekend.

A photo accompanying her post shows Carol in a face mask and face shield. "Preparing for the incoming surge of #covid patients. Grateful to receive this added protection just in time. Here we go...🙏🏻" her post read.

In case you didn't know, Carol sang some of the most iconic OPM hits to date including "Iingatan Ka", "Bakit 'Di Totohanin", and "Stay" among others. Per ABS-CBN News, the 39-year-old hitmaker earned her nursing degree in 2018 and became a registered nurse in the same year.
