Kean Cipriano is back with a new solo single and it's something we haven't heard before from the Callalily frontman.

The new track "Later When I'm Drunk" talks about one's attempt at starting a flirtatious banter with a lovely woman he meets at a bar. Kean explains: "I dove on a different kind of storytelling for this song. It’s very graphic and literal. Gusto ko lang mag kwento ng storya ng isang lalake na may nakitang babae sa bar. Kumuha ng strength sa alak para makipaglandian."

The mastermind behind O/C Records also shared that he recorded all the instruments for the single which gives off a classic rock vibe. Extremely impressive when you think about it. "Actually, the goal was to create a sound na malayo sa Callalily. Yung hindi pa naririnig sakin ng mga tao. Kumbaga, it’s my sole taste and musical preference. Actually, I recorded all the instruments, from the drums to vocals," he said.

The rock piece will be part of Kean's upcoming solo project. Previously, he released singles like "Tangina" and "Eye Contact". Speaking of which, check out our MYXclusive interview with Kean Cipriano below where he talks about his debut solo album!
