Marlo Mortel debuted a new original "Racing Waters", a song for those experiencing mental or psychological abuse.

"Fighting daily battles in your mind because of a poisonous relationship is NEVER ok. For it has never been LOVE if you are made to feel worthless. Never feel less. Save yourself and reach out to those who truly care," he wrote. Give the singer-actor's new track a listen below.

Shortly after sharing "Racing Waters" on his socials, Marlo thanked his fans for the positive reception. He said in a post, "I wrote that song hoping to help someone who’s trapped in that kind of situation. And if you are, please find the courage to leave, ‘cause YOU matter..."

While on quarantine, Marlo has also penned three other original songs titled "Korona", "Mayakap Kang Muli", and "Seri's Song" which takes inspiration from the female lead of the hit Korean drama series Crash Landing On You.
