Sharing a video of a UK doctor explaining how to relieve respiratory symptoms, the 54-year-old revealed that she exhibited symptoms of the coronavirus disease and had already recovered, although she was never tested.

She added: "I really am completely recovered and wanted to share a technique that’s recommended by doctors, costs nothing, has no nasty side effects but could help you/your loved ones a lot, as it did me."

A few hours later, the renowned author stressed the need "to protect each other and slow the spread by staying home."

The best-selling author recently launched the website harrypotterathome.com to "keep children amused and interested" while on lockdown.
