LOOK: FRANK OCEAN Reveals Why He Skipped Grammys!

Two days before the 59th Grammy Awards, the show's producer Ken Ehrlich and writer David Wild talked about Frank Ocean abstaining to submit Blonde and Endless for a Grammy nomination on the Rolling Stone Music Now podcast. They believed Frank's decision stemmed from his "faulty" 2013 Grammy performance of "Forrest Gump".

Frank, who previously shared his thoughts about the awards show being "dated" and unappreciative of black artists, responded to Ken and David's statements in a Tumblr post he shared the day before the Grammys. "As much as I hate to make you guys famous or even respond to you directly, we all die one day and you're old so fuck it," he introed.

"You think that's why I kept my work out of the Grammy process this year? Don't you think I would've wanted to play the show to 'redeem' myself if I felt that way?" he countered. The 29-year-old artist also admitted wanting to honor Prince in the show but figured his best tribute "would be to continue to be myself out here and to be successful."

He later dissed Taylor Swift's 1989 winning Album Of The Year over Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly last year.

Solange Knowles wrote "waddup frank" with a link to Frank's post in a now-deleted tweet after her sister Beyoncé lost to Adele this year.
