DUA LIPA Is Releasing ‘Future Nostalgia’ A Week Early
Good news, Dua Lipa fans! The British pop star has made the decision to release her new album Future Nostalgia a week early, hoping that it would "bring joy" amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The hitmaker went live on Instagram and broke down in tears while announcing that the release of her sophomore effort was pushed forward to Friday, March 27. She admitted feeling "conflicted about putting music out, whether it is the right thing to do, because people are suffering," but realized the power of music in a time like this. "I hope it brings you some happiness, and I hope it makes you smile, and I hope it makes you dance. I hope I make you proud," she said.
The release of the next single "Break My Heart" and its accompanying visual has also been moved to March 25, Wednesday. So far, fans have already heard three songs—"Don't Start Now", "Physical", and "Future Nostalgia"—off the 11-track project. She also unveiled a new version of "Physical" featuring South Korean singer Hwasa.
