Say Goodbye To Coronavirus In VICE GANDA's New Song With Matching Dance Steps!
Known for various pop songs about current trends like "Wag Kang Pabebe" and "Boom Panes," Vice Ganda has released a new song about an extremely timely issue—the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through its comedic lyrics paired with some bright upbeat tunes, "Corona Ba-Bye Na!" talks about shooing away the deadly virus.
"Ang bet naming 'corona' kay Pia lang at Catriona," the It's Showtime host referenced Miss Universe 2015 and 2018 Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray, respectively, with a word play between 'coronavirus' and the Filipino word for 'crown': korona.
The blockbuster Kapamilya star personally had a hand in the song's music and lyrics, along with Star Music Audio Content Head Jonathan Manalo and Star Pop Label Head Rox Santos.
In a tweet, Vice revealed that the song was "composed, recorded, filmed and edited in one day." Definitely unkabogable!!!
