'Wonder Woman 1984' Officially Delayed Amid Coronavirus Concerns
With movie releases like Mulan, Fast & Furious 9, No Time To Die and Black Widow all being held up due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, DC's upcoming superhero flick Wonder Woman 1984 has also suffered the same fate.
Deadline reports that the Gal Gadot-starrer, originally slated for release in the country on June 3 has been pushed back to August 14.
Diehard DC fans saw the move coming from a mile away, long before the postponement was even announced.

I saw Black Widow getting delayed from the #coronavirus. And I think Wonder Woman 1984, Top Gun: Maverick, and Morbius are gonna be delayed too. It's not gonna be a great summer this year.— Hiatt Grey Nester (@GreyHiatt) March 18, 2020

Ok coronavirus. Listen well. I tolerate a lot of what you do... but first you took Mulan from us, and now Black Widow.— Zach Lang (@ZachLang4) March 18, 2020

Now, Gal herself took to social media to confirm the news. "In these dark and scary times, I am looking forward to a brighter future ahead. Where we can share the power of cinema together again. Excited to redate our WW84 film to August 14, 2020. I hope everyone is safe. Sending my love to you all," she wrote.
We wouldn't mind waiting to see the big screen return of Diana Prince.
