TOM HANKS, RITA WILSON Released From Hospital
Oscar winner Tom Hanks and singer-actress Rita Wilson have left the hospital in Australia five days after the married couple confirmed that they both tested positive for COVID-19, as reported by PEOPLE.
The two couple are now in self-quarantine in a home they rented. The Forrest Gump star earlier updated fans how they're taking their recovery one-day-at-a-time. "There are things we can all do to get through this by following the advice of experts and taking care of ourselves and each other, no?" he wrote in an Instagram post.
The pair were in Australia for the pre-production stages of the yet-untitled Elvis Presley movie in which Hanks is set to play the music legend's manager Colonel Tom Parker. Production on the said project is currently suspended.
