Coronavirus Outbreak Forces SHARON CUNETA To Postpone Australia Tour

Sharon Cuneta postponed her series of shows in Australia amid concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.

The following concert dates are affected: April 17 in Blacktown, New South Wales; April 18 in Williamstown, Victoria; April 25 in Woodville, South Australia; and April 26 in Burswood, Western Australia.

In an Instagram post, the megastar shared how it broke her heart to deliver the bad news. "Because of the present health crisis brought about all over the world by the coronavirus, we have decided to postpone my April 2020 Australian Concert Tour, My 40 Years, out of concerns for all our health," she wrote.

She continued, "I was so looking forward to seeing and singing for you all. Let us all hope and keep praying that we can all get back to normality soon." She has advised all ticketholders to  wait for further information about the concert tour’s rescheduling.

While the total of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines continues to rise, the Department of Health earlier confirmed that five patients have already recovered.
