'Fast 9' Pushed Back To 2021 Amid Coronavirus Concerns
Fans of the Fast & Furious franchise may have to save all their stored adrenaline for next year as the release date of the ninth installment in the series has been pushed back to April 2021.
Universal Studios made the call to delay the film's release, which was originally slated to drop this May, due to the ongoing coronavirus threat.
Franchise star Vin Diesel made the announcement on social media: "We feel all the love and the anticipation you have for the next chapter in our saga. That’s why it’s especially tough to let you know that we have to move the release date of the film. It’s become clear that it won’t be possible for all of our fans around the world to see the film this May."
Aside from #F9, Daniel Craig's final outing as James Bond in No Time To Die has been pushed back from April to November 2020.
