EMINEM Pays Tribute To Late JUICE WRLD In "Godzilla" Video
Eminem dedicated the music video for "Godzilla" to the late rapper Juice WRLD, who is featured on the track.
At the end of the four-minute clip, a footage of the young hitmaker appears on the screen where he can be heard saying, "I hope everybody’s having a good day. I hope everybody accomplished something significant. Even if you didn’t accomplish anything significant, don’t be discouraged. Just aim to accomplish something significant tomorrow, and the next day, and so on."
If anybody’s going through anything, I hope and I pray that you get through it, and just know that you do have the strength to get through whatever the f*** you’re going through, no matter what it is," he continued. Watch it below.
"That kid was so talented, like his freestyle he did on Tim Westwood—what the f***?" Em earlier said of the late rapper during a sit-down for the Crook's Corner series. "To be so young, he mastered that so f***ing quickly. His potential was so off the charts."
Juice WRLD—whose real name was Jarad Anthony Higgins—died of an accidental drug overdose on December 8 of last year during a drug raid at the Midway Airport in Chicago. He was known for his 2018 breakout hit "Lucid Dreams."
Meanwhile, the rap god recently dared his fans to take on the #GodzillaChallenge which showcased his rapid-fire delivery with an astonishing 224-word rap verse all done in just 31 seconds. And in case you didn't know, Pinoy rapper Loonie stepped up and showed everyone how it's done. You can check out his entry to the challenge here.
