The "new" Batmobile is unlike anything we've seen on the big screen. It's sleek and simplistic in design but still retains the badassery of the iconic fictional vehicle. In fact, it looks like it's drawing inspiration from Batsy's trusty car in the 1970s.
...That's what the Batmobile has always been. That's what the Batmobile of the 70s/80s looked like. It hasn't been a tank-car until the modern movies.

According to reports, the new Batman trilogy will start with Bruce Wayne's second year as the caped crusader. No wonder everything—from the batsuit all the way to his new car—looks prototype-ish. Still, we're digging 'em so far!
