HUGH JACKMAN Calls Wolverine "Role Of A Lifetime" On Third Anniversary Of 'Logan'
2017's X-Men spinoff film Logan is oftentimes regarded as one of the best, if not the best superhero films in the R-rated category.
The critically-acclaimed superhero flick did extremely well at the box office – grossing over 619 million dollars worldwide. It also marked the emotional farewell of Hugh Jackman as he slashed baddies with his adamantium claws one final time.
Having played the Marvel character on the big screen since 2000, the actor is already synonymous with Wolverine and even though he's now retired from doing mutant business, he still celebrated the film's third anniversary with a grateful heart.
Sharing a series of promo images from the film on his socials, Hugh wrote: "3 years ago ... on this day. LOGAN was released. #thankyou for the many (and I really mean MANY) years of sweat, steamed chicken and, the role of a lifetime!"
And while the Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently on the lookout for its new Wolverine, we can all agree that his portrayal is gonna be a tough task to top or even replicate. We miss you, Bub!
