88rising has postponed their first and highly anticipated Head In The Clouds Festival in Jakarta, Indonesia this coming weekend "after heavy consideration and the utmost regret due to the recent coronavirus situation." The Asian artist collective boasts of artists such as Joji, NIKI, and Rich Brian.

In a statement, the company said "the health and well-being of the people of Indonesia and our 88rising family of fans, artists, and team traveling from all around the world is our number one priority." No worries though as they promised to bring back HITC "very soon." For now, information regarding rescheduling and refunds will be announced shortly.

Prior to the announcement, South Korean artist Chung Ha dropped out of the lineup after two of her staff members tested positive for COVID-19 after a work trip to Italy. Fortunately, she didn’t contract the virus, but was still ordered to self-quarantine.

In late 2019, 88rising appeared to hint at talks regarding a Manila date for the Asian leg of the HITC Festival.
