South Korean R&B artist george will no longer perform at the Wanderland Festival "due to unforeseen travel restrictions caused by COVID-19." Thai singer-songwriter Phum Viphurit will take the stage in his place on the second day of the festival alongside fellow Asian acts Joji, NIKI, No Rome, and IV of Spades among others.

In a statement last February 29, the South Korean hitmaker wished for the safety of festival-goers. "I will make it up to you soon. Thank you for your understanding," he wrote.

Other international acts who have cancelled their appearances in the popular music and arts festival due to the current coronavirus situation were Bruno Major, Novo Amor, and Sabrina Claudio. But of course, Wanderland will still push through at the Filinvest City Events Grounds in Alabang on March 7 and 8.
