LEE MIN HO Returns In New Drama ‘The King: Eternal Monarch’

Lee Min Ho is a Korean emperor intent to close the door between two dimensions in the powerful first look at his upcoming drama The King: Eternal Monarch.

The 30-second teaser opens with the actor introducing himself as Lee Gon, the emperor of the Korean Empire. Although she didn't appear in the clip, Goblin star Kim Go Eun is set to take on the role of Jung Tae Eul, a detective who will work with the emperor to protect the people.

Soompi reports that the new drama was confirmed to have an April release date. Until then, watch the trailer below:

The popular actor last starred in the 2016 hit Legend of the Blue Sea before his mandatory military enlistment. Aside from the recently-announced project, he is also rumored to reprise his role in the sequel to The Heirs.
