Last month at the Golden Globe Awards, the South Korean filmmaker praised the K-Pop group for having "3,000 times the amount of power and influence" he has in the world.
“Although I’m here at the Golden Globes, @BTS_twt has 3000 times the amount of power and influence that I have. I think Korea produces a lot of great artists cause we’re very emotionally dynamic people”—Bong Joonho at the #GoldenGlobes Red Carpet.pic.twitter.com/fkmDNiktgU

Suga humbly shared that he's a big fan of Joon Ho, "I believe he was answering a question about Korean culture, and I think it was generous praise. I’m embarrassed because I’m still not sure we have that big of an influence."
"I want to say that I watched all of director Bong Joon Ho’s films as his fan. I was thankful that director Bong Joon Ho said, ‘Korean culture is dynamic.’ I hope that the many amazing artists in Korea will be known [overseas]. I really enjoyed watching ‘Parasite’. I’m a fan."
We need these two legends together, please.
