Over one million YouTube subscribers and several TikTok entries later, Benedict Cua is now ready to embark on a new journey. The online sensation just signed a recording deal with PolyEast Records!

Growing up, Benedict has been always passionate about singing but he just couldn't find the right way and timing to pursue it. He revealed during our fun chat that PolyEast actually saw his TikTok entry dubbing "10,000 Hours" by Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber along with his covers on YouTube.

"Siguro nakitaan nila ng potential kaya they made this possible," he said while feeling "very surreal" during the contract signing. "Gusto ko talaga. I think this is the chance to grow even more and to pursue it."

As for his musical influences, the R&B and pop fan cited Chris Brown, Michael Pangilinan, and of course, Ed Sheeran. He considers "Supermarket Flowers" by the Divide singer-songwriter as the most memorable song cover he's done.
