Sure, The Weeknd has released the '80s-sounding disco tracks "Heartless" and "Blinding Lights" off his upcoming fourth album After Hours due out March 20. But the title track is reminiscent of the Canadian hitmaker's dark, brooding sound early on in his career.

According to Genius, the song "addresses a failed relationship that ended in heartbreak and serves as an apology letter for his past transgressions as he desires reconciliation."

The Weeknd also generously revealed the album's cover art. Apparently, "Heartless," "Blinding Lights," and "After Hours" will serve as tracks 7, 9, and 13, respectively.
