Commutes can be both mentally and physically draining, especially if you live near a crowded place like EDSA. That's why we thank the heavens for music because if it weren't for our go-to playlist, chances are, we might just stay at home forever.

Admit it, there are times that we imagine ourselves in a dramatic music video or a kilig movie scene with the song we are listening to playing softly in the background. And with moments like these, what better than to listen to some of the tunes from our fave K-Dramas? Here’s a breakdown of the OST songs that are perfect additions to your commute playlist:

1. "I Give You My Heart" by IU (Crash Landing On You)

Give it to IU to release an OST song for Crash Landing On You that flawlessly depicts what the two star-crossed lovers Yoon Se-ri and Ri Jeong-hyuk are feeling. Honestly, this delightful song is not only meant to be a song to listen to on your commute, it might be the perf wedding song, too!

2. "Can't I Fall In Love Again" by Klang (Love Alarm)

There’s no greater feeling than falling in love with someone who loves us back, and Love Alarm definitely puts us in a mood with their OST song “Can’t I Fall In Love Again”.

3. "My Love" by BAEKHYUN (Romantic Dr. Teacher Kim 2)

An OST song that will spontaneously make you feel like you already know how the drama flows, "My Love" tugs our hearts with its fluttering words and BAEKHYUN's angelic voice. And as someone who is currently watching the medical Korean drama Romantic Dr. Teacher Kim 2, every time we listen to this song, all we could think of is Seo Woo-jin and Cha Eun-Jae's love story!

4. "If I Was" by Kim Jae Hwan (Vagabond)

Vagabond was one of the most nerve-wracking Korean dramas of 2019 and we're not surprised that they also released a saddening OST song called "If I Was." So if you're in the mood to imagine yourself in an emotional music video, then this is the song you're looking for!

5. "Help Me" by (G)I-DLE (Her Private Life)

Every once in a while, we enjoy listening to songs that make us enthusiastic about what the day holds, and Her Private Life's OST song "Help Me" makes us feel like that every time! Plus, the drama is about a hardcore fangirl, which makes this song more fun to listen to during our commute because you can think about your celebrity crush while listening to it.

6. "All About You" by TAEYEON (Hotel Del Luna)

If you have watched Hotel Del Luna already, we are sure that your heart will break into pieces every time you listen to TAEYEON's "All About You." But even if you haven't, give this song a chance as it will make your commute more peaceful as you imagine yourself meeting your very own Chan-Seong for the very first time.

7. "The Poem Of Destiny" by AILEE (Arthdal Chronicles)

Commuting can be quite an adventure, especially when you are going out and about on every means of transportation to get to your destination.  An OST song like "The Poem Of Destiny," which has an action and fantasy vibe, can be a great addition to your commute playlist!

Your daily commute back and forth to school or work can be tiring and boring, which leads to most of you arriving at your destination dull and stressed. However, with these songs that we curated for every inner K-Drama fanatic, we are sure that you won't mind the hassle of the commute anymore and might even prefer to be given a moment to have your own K-Drama scene!
