Miriam College Celebrates Contemporary Art Through a Variety Show for a Cause!
Coming from the words Kalikasan (meaning environment) and Likha (meaning to create), KaLIKHAsan is a beneficiary concert and fashion show presenting our interpretation of Contemporary Philippine Arts whilst raising awareness on current environmental issues especially concerning climate change. KaLIKHAsan will take place this Saturday, February 22 from 12:45 to 3 PM in the MMJ Covered Court at Miriam College.
The concert will feature performers from both the school and outside such as Meg Ruiz, Obay Valera, Soleil Schroth, Zenith, OD, and Duyog. Meanwhile, the fashion show will showcase designs made by the class, produced from second-hand clothing as part of our sustainable fashion advocacy.
Each ticket bought to the event will result in one tree to be planted in Camp Mateo Capinpin, Tanay, Rizal. Tickets are priced at 180 pesos each. You can reserve tickets or give donations at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/
