6 Songs to Add to Your Study Playlist from These Wanderland Acts
Karen Jane Ng
While some can get easily distracted with any amount of sounds while studying, there are other students who find music helpful in activating their brainpower. Count us in the latter! Our self-control don't always work in our favor but music always do - keeping us awake, focus and motivated to do what we have to do.
Would any music work? It still depends on your taste and your needs. For us, soothing and empowering tunes never failed us in releasing anxiety and getting more key lessons in our heads. And we couldn't think of anyone who better provide those kinds than 88rising's Joji and Niki, and the rest of this year's Wanderland lineup. Let's get you through your next exam by adding their songs to your study playlist, shall we?
1. "Sanctuary" by Joji
This feel-good track is your best option to relieve the stress and make your studying more relax. It's an actual "sanctuary" we all need.
2. "See U Never" by Niki
Lowkey dance along to this single by Indonesian sensation, Niki, while you try to memorize terms. You can also treat its lyrics as motivational words not to see those failing marks again.
3. "St. Clarity" by The Paper Kites
The gentle layer of instruments incorporated in the song downright puts you in the right state of mind. We don't know about you, but we think it carries a sense of hopefulness along.
4. "Twenty Two and Some Change" by Stephen Day
Soul artist Stephen knows exactly the weight of life - school for students - when he wrote this song. At the same time, he gave it groovy effect to motivate us to get past it.

5. "Leaves" by Ben&Ben
We all know any songs that come out of this OPM band's discography is a guaranteed relaxing piece. Though it's basically about a relationship, there's nothing wrong with associating it with a newfound positivity when it comes to studies.
6. "We'll Be Fine" by Banna Harbera
Another local artist that will act as a musical reminder that you're gonna make it at the end of the day, alongside the melody that'll keep your calm to your hearts' content.

These have been our picks to listen to when we are studying. Lucky for us, we can experience it's full impact when they take the stage of Wanderland Music & Arts Festival 2020 on March 7 and 8 at the Filinvest City Events Grounds, Makati. Only a couple of weeks left!
