Twitter user @HeneralpauLuna was among the first to call out Viva while a petition followed suit.

The issue stemmed from newcomer Raphiel Shannon's cover which is part of On Vodka, Beers and Regrets' official soundtrack. According to its description, "Mundo" was solely written by former IV of Spades vocalist Unique Salonga.

Avid Spaders expressed their dismay on the microblogging site, with the hashtag #GiveCreditsToZildBenitez becoming a top trending topic. Here's what some of them had to say:

Even Zild's mom Jennifer Benitez cried foul over the snub and stressed that her son co-wrote the song. She said: "RESPECT RESPECT RESPECT. MY SON ZILD IS A LEGITIMATE CO WRITER OF MUNDO. Tumatahimik lang kami pero it's all over 'di ko na kinakaya ginagawa nila sa banda at sa anak ko." Viva Records and O/C Records - which is listed as the song's publisher - have yet to comment regarding the issue.

In early 2018, IV of Spades fans were shocked when UNIQUE left the group during the height of the song's popularity. Following his exit, Zild, Blaster and Badjao appeared on the MYX Music Awards and played "Mundo" for the first time as a trio. Check it out here:
