RACHELLE ANN GO Shares Touching Moment With Husband During Homecoming Concert
Rachelle Ann Go made her triumphant return to the local concert stage and she did not disappoint, giving fans a Valentine's Day treat to remember!
The OPM diva turned Broadway and West End star opened the show on a high note, belting out "Home" by Diana Ross and "A Deeper Love" and "Think" by the late Aretha Franklin
A celebration of her colorful 16-year career, Rachelle Ann looked back on her humble beginnings and took all of her fans to a trip down memory lane. It felt like 2004 all over again as she sang her breakout rendition of "Don't Cry Out Loud" to much applause from the people in attendance.
Idol Philippines grand winner Zephanie and Nina Campos teamed up with Shin in a Disney medley featuring songs from The Little Mermaid, Frozen and Mulan.
Rachelle Ann's 'bes' Erik Santos joined her onstage for a hair-raising performance of "All I Ask Of You" from Phantom of the Opera. In case you forgot, the two singing champions co-starred in The Little Mermaid musical in 2011.
Broadway diva Lea Salonga was also a special guest at Rachelle Ann's homecoming concert. The theater sensations blew the roof off of the Marriott Grand Ballroom with their moving renditions of "For Good" from Wicked and "Movie In My Mind" from the musical which launched their respective international careers, Miss Saigon.
Another highlight of the Valentine's concert was when Rachelle Ann brought her husband Martin Spies to the stage. The singer shared that when she first laid eyes on Martin, she immediately thought that he was the man that she would marry. True enough, the couple tied the knot in 2018. She fittingly serenaded him with "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" by Roberta Flack and he was seen tearing up. Such a touching moment!
