STEPHANIE POETRI Released An Anti-Romance EP On Valentine's Day

Indonesian artist Stephanie Poetri made a big splash in the music world with her viral debut single "I Love You 3000" which has a duet version with Jackson Wang. But the up-and-coming singer is set to make even more noise with the release of her debut EP do you love me on Valentine's Day.

Speaking to Teen Vogue, the 19-year-old 88Rising act said the the two-track effort goes in depth with the feelings of unrequited love. First off, the title track is a "childish interpretation, where you’re going crazy and you're like, 'Do they love me? What's going on?'" In the music video, we find Stephanie plucking the petals of a flower to find out if the object of her affection loves her or not.

Meanwhile, second track "Touch" is "much more emotional, [it’s] what is happening in your head when you realize someone doesn't love you back." The lyrics suggest that Stephanie admits to yearning the touch of a former lover but afraid that "just a little is a little too much." Watch the video below:
