BOYCE AVENUE Says Playing In The Philippines Has Become A Valentine Tradition
Boyce Avenue is back in the Philippines and this time around, they're doing a series of shows all over the country.
We missed them last year but brothers Alejandro, Daniel and Fabian Manzano are excited for their shows at Waterfront Hotel Ballroom in Cebu (February 14), SMX Convention Room in Davao (February 15) and Araneta Coliseum in Manila (February 16) in what has become a Valentine tradition for the trio and their fans. "For a while, it actually happened by coincidence. Our first tour was around Valentine's Day and it was like a mall tour and it just happened that three out of the first five tours was at Valentine's Day," Daniel said.
They've also added a Pangasinan leg to the tour which happens tonight at Calasiao Sports Complex. Joining them are Top Suzara and This Band.
December Avenue and I Belong To The Zoo are also sharing the stage with them for the headlining shows. The boys said they're highly impressed with the said OPM acts and were excited upon learning they'll be joining them for the tour. "When we checked them out, we were really impressed. You know, the stuff they're doing on Spotify and YouTube and their music, we're like, 'let's do it!' This would be really cool to have like a really strong bill with three acts and we're excited to meet the guys.
