If you're looking for songs that will transport you to pop bliss, look no further than mxmtoon's latest single "fever dream" where she sings about taking big risks in life and jumping right into love. The 19-year old singer-songwriter from California gives an example in the second verse: "I took the train, I took the call / I didn't know just where I'd fall / Or where it'd take me / Another step, another stair / I'll never know if I'll get there / But just maybe."

"Life is merely a collection of moments, memories, and feelings," she further explained in a tweet, "and while days are fleeting, they are no less important because of it." The "Prom Dress" hitmaker reminded not to take the time we have for granted, adding, "Dream as big or as small as you dare to, live authentically, and do so unapologetically."

A dance-based music video was released to accompany the lushly layered track which you can catch on MYX.

Since the Philippines is one of her strongest markets, can we expect mxmtoon—or Maia in real life—to drop by the country for a show or two? We'll have to wait and see.
