Viral Filipino "Blind Balladeer" CARLMALONE Wishes For Duet With SAM SMITH
The Bacolod-born-and-raised "Blind Balladeer" Carlmalone Montecido, who recently became viral after singing Sam Smith's "Too Good At Goodbyes" at a grocery store's free karaoke setup, has expressed his gratitude to the Grammy-award winning singer after reacting to his video.
Sam described the former Tawag Ng Tanghalan finalist's singing prowess "out of this universe" and for that, Carl was nothing but thankful. In a short interview posted by ABS-CBN News, he also expressed his interest in meeting and doing a duet with Sam Smith!
“To Sam Smith, thank you so much for your reaction and I do appreciate that. And I would like to say thank you also for giving me an inspiration to do or to work hard [for] my music career. And I hope to see you soon and I wish we can [do a] duet.”
