JOSHUA GARCIA To Star In Film Adaptation of BOB ONG's ‘Ang Mga Kaibigan Ni Mama Susan’

Joshua Garcia has signed on for his first big project post-The Killer Bride. Black Sheep announced that the Block Z actor landed the leading role in the upcoming film adaptation of the Bob Ong mystery-horror classic Ang Mga Kaibigan Ni Mama Susan.

It will be the film outfit's first co-production with Regal Entertainment Inc. with award-winning filmmaker Chito S. Roño at the helm. No further announcements about the rest of the cast or the filming schedule were made yet.

This is the third Bob Ong piece to be adapted for the big screen. In 2014, Jericho Rosales starred in the adaptation for his autobiography ABNKKBSNPLAko?​ Then in 2016, his satirical comedy novel Lumayo Ka Nga Sa Akin was made into a film with a star-studded cast comprising of Cristine Reyes, Maricel Soriano, Herbert Bautista, Paolo Ballesteros, Jason Gainza, and more.
