Last weekend, lucky fans who joined the free "This Jam" event got the chance to hear This Band's new single "Rebound" live before the pop rock track hits the digital platforms this February 7!

"Masakit man ito tanggapin pero katotohanan 'to na minsan may mga taong dumadaan sa atin na panandalian lang." The new song from the #mapanakit act that gave us the hit "Kahit Ayaw Mo Na" is about being in a rebound relationship - as in getting involved with someone who just came from another relationship. You're just there to mend that person's heartache, not knowing if they're capable of a genuine emotional attachment towards you.

"Sinulat ko s'ya noong akala kong rebound ako. So medyo OA lang ako mag-isip. Tamang hinala," shared guitarist Euwi Loria. It seems he's still reeling from the experience as he told VJ Dani during her MYXclusive interview, "Gagamitin lang tayo para sa mga ikasasaya nila. Tapos kapag masaya na sila, 'pag ayos na sila, hindi ka nila kailangan." Ouch!

This Band also gave some helpful advice to those who experienced becoming just a "rebound". "Darating din ang tamang tao para sa atin. Mahalin n'yo muna ang mga sarili n'yo.".

Meanwhile, the members couldn't contain their excitement about its upcoming music video! In fact, they provided us with a little hint that it will star Albert Nicolas aka Asian Cutie ! Will we witness his amazing dance moves in the video?

Check out the MYXclusive photos from the "Rebound" single launch in the gallery above! And while we wait for the song to drop, watch This Band's performance of "Kahit Ayaw Mo Na" below:
