The first reactions to 'Birds of Prey' are in and they're generally positive!

A lot of fans and critics were skeptical with the all-female led film especially after 2016's Suicide Squad failed to meet expectations. But now, it looks like the folks over at DC have cracked the code with the Margot Robbie-starrer.

According to critics, the Cathy Yan-directed film, for the most part is a fun comic book flick that lives up to its R-rating—yup, expect some violence and a load of profanity!

Others say it's their favorite DC film to date. They also praised the performances of Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Huntress) and Ewan McGregor (Black Mask). See some of the first reactions below:

Also starring Rosie Perez, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, and Fil-Am actress Ella Jay Basco, Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) hits Philippine cinemas on February 6!
