Is 'WandaVision' Trailer Dropping During Super Bowl LIV?
The expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe through Disney+ was announced at last year's San Diego Comic Con. This 2020, we're guaranteed to get two spinoff series.
One of the shows MCU stans are most excited about is WandaVision starring Elizabeth Olsen and the returning Paul Bettany.
According to the two stars, the spinoff show will have an interesting treatment, drawing inspiration from American sitcoms from the 1950s. How they're gonna pull everything off is still a huge mystery to a lot of fans. Slated for release later this year, WandaVision will directly tie into the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Paul himself spoke with Collider recently and it led a lot of fans to believe that he may have just hinted at the trailer's much awaited arrival. The actor said "Something will be happening very soon..." and the interviewer immediately assumed it has something to do with Super Bowl LIV. Could we be getting our first look at the series next week?
Paul: Something will be happening very soon...— 𝓪𝓁𝒾𝒶𝓈 (@itsjustanx) January 27, 2020
“Is it related to the Super Bowl?”
Paul: I couldn’t possibly say. Getting one of those adds is a lot of money, I’m not sure Disney has that kind of pocket.
