If you thrive off One Direction reunion news and references, it's highly likely that you would find Louis Tomlinson's music video for "Walls" nostalgic. In retrospect, the four-minute clip finds the hitmaker walking in the desert, staring at himself in a wall of mirrors, and more.

But halfway through, specifically at the 2:52 mark, four silhouettes—seemingly of his former 1D bandmates Harry StylesZayn MalikNiall Horan, and Liam Payne—appear standing before bright lights. "So this one is a thank you for what you did to me. Why is it that 'thank yous' are so often bittersweet. I just hope I see you one day and you'll say to me, oh, oh," Louis sings before joining them.

The release came on the heels of his interview with Telegraph Magazine where he confessed to being against his global group's indefinite hiatus. As per Capital FM, Louis said: "I was f***ing fuming at first... I was bitter and angry, I didn’t know why we couldn’t just carry on. But now, even though I don’t fully understand everyone’s individual reasons, I respect them."

He added, "If it was up to me, yeah. I’d maybe have said, ‘Let’s have a year off.’"
