BTS' new album Map of the Soul: 7 isn't out yet but it's already a record-breaking success!

The K-pop phenom's label Big Hit Entertainment revealed that the album already sold 3.42 million pre-orders in its first week of availability. It surpassed the previous record of 2.685 million which they set last year with Map of the Soul: Persona which, in turn, dethroned another BTS release Love Yourself: Answer. Indeed, BTS' only rival is BTS.

The comeback trailer "Interlude: Shadow" featuring Suga has been viewed more than 40 million times since it dropped last January 10. BTS will release the album's first single tomorrow, January 17.
