After finding out about the damages caused by the ongoing Taal Volcano eruption, American rapper and producer Russ offered his earnest prayers for the Philippines without a second thought.

Earlier today, he remembered his Filipino fans and tweeted that he's waiting for them to cover his newly released single 'NIGHTTIME (Interlude)," which also came with a brand new music video: "Philippines why haven't I seen covers to NIGHTTIME (Interlude)? I definitely felt like y'all would kill that."

But thanks to fans' replies informing him about the eruption-related problems currently being faced by our country, Russ followed up with a sympathetic tweet saying, "I’m trippin tho too smh prayers up for the Philippines 🇵🇭 beautiful ppl and beautiful country and I’m late with my love. My apologies. See y’all later this year."

So did he just announce he's returning to Manila this year for another great show? Take a loot at his tweets below!

Thanks for your thoughtful prayers for the Philippines, Russ! We appreciate it!

To all of his fans out there, watch his cool MYXclusive interview with VJ Samm Alvero during his Manila visit in July last year where he talked about his musical influences and a whole lot more!
