To the folks excited to hear The 1975's forthcoming record Notes on a Conditional Form, we've got some bad news for you. Matty Healy himself revealed that the release date for their followup to A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships has been pushed back to April.

Originally set for release on February 21, the new LP will now drop on April 24. Healy explained the reason behind the delay in an Instagram live session. The "Sincerity Is Scary" singer said: "It takes like three months or something to physically make a record on vinyl so it comes out on the 24th of April, I think. Sorry if that’s annoying or whatever… For the sake of a couple of months, in the grand scheme of things [the delay] doesn’t really make any difference." Check out the stream here:

On the bright side, the debut of their new song "Me & You Together Song" will still happen this week as promised.
