During his speech, Joaquin addressed the meat and dairy industry and their impact on climate change as the third leading cause. "I think sometimes we wonder what we can do in this fight against climate change and there’s something that you can do today, right now, and tomorrow, by making a choice about what you consume," he said.
The weekly movement which focuses on climate crisis started in October and is now on its 14th run. Even Fonda got arrested for five times following the protests. Apocalypse Now actor Martin Sheen was also arrested in this week's protests.
